Our Multi Award winning Baby & Child First Aid classes for parents, grandparents and carers are delivered in a relaxed and comfortable style and give you confidence to know what actions to take if faced with a medical emergency.
Our “New” Baby Proofing classes for parents, grandparents and carers follow the same award-winning style of our first aid classes and are designed to help you prepare for preventing accidents from happening.
Hosted by Naomi, Mini First Aid trainer across Suffolk and mummy to toddler Esme. Having 10 years experience working in residential care, Naomi has faced many first aid scenarios. Naomi is passionate about sharing her first aid knowledge, giving parents and carers confidence in any emergency situation.

Come along and join the crafty foxes creating your very own scented and stuffed cuddly creature to LOVE this half term, complete with personalised birth certificate!
Choose between a sock caterpillar or glove monster.
Suitable for children aged 6 and above. No sewing required.
The crafty foxes are a local based community craft company offering craft workshops and parties for adults and children. Michelle has been running the company for over 15 years, her workshops always prove popular and we are delighted to be working with her here at the cafe in half term.

“Hi I’m Anna, and I have been working with Ceramics since September 2019. I specialise up the illustration of babies and children’s hands and footprints. All items are hand made and hand glazed by me. The glaze I use is food safe and the paint I use is toxics, dairy and allergy free making it completely safe for your little ones!
During your 20 minute appointment I will take your little one’s hand and feet prints and we will discuss designs and writing you would like on your ceramic keepsake.
Orders are then returned to Joy Connection for you to collect. Usually 2 weeks after your appointment or 3 weeks during busy periods.

Untitled Event
Come together once a month around the full moon to honour yourself as a woman and be in the presence of other women where we uplift and hold space for each other. We sit in sacred circle where we each have the chance to be seen and heard. It is suggested to bring snacks for sharing (vegetarian). There will be herbal teas available and the cafe will be open for hot chocolate, coffee (decaf available) or tea etc, cafe accepts card only for refreshments. Suggested cash or card £5 donation to support the group
Family Photography Session (Rob Cogan) (Copy)
Leave the session with five beautiful digital images of you and your family members (dogs included!) taken by a professional photographer, in a safe space where the children can play candidly.
The option to purchase prints can be arranged at the end of your session with Rob.

A bit about me, I am a mother of a lovely little girl, and have worked in salons for over fifteen years.
I am so excited to be a part of Joy Connection, I am very passionate about family and creativity for children, which is why I am offering one day a month of cutting and stlying for everyone hosted in the beautiful session space at Joy Connection, Bury St Edmunds.
As a childrens hair stylist I would like to offer a salon experience but at a fun and relaxed space to take the fear out of the haircutting experience you might find in a regular noisy hair salon.

Calm and Connection with Bump: Mama to Be Pregnancy Relaxation Circle (Awe and Wonder)
A Mummy to Be Circle, a safe and non-judgemental space, set up for you to relax into and experience being supported and held by other Mummies to Be.
We will spend the two hours with self-love, relaxation and visualisation to support well-being, journalling prompts and time to discuss the journeys you are on. There will be some Fourth Trimester prompts also so I can support you beyond birth.
All trimesters welcome!
Dog Friendly Day
WE LOVE DOGS! But not all our little one’s do, so we have reached a compromise of having one special DOG DAY on the last Saturday of every month. We will make sure that all families in the cafe on that day know that there may be some friendly dog visitors, and we ask that the dog parents be very wary of the children and keep tabs on their pups! GUIDE DOGS are of course welcome the whole month through!

Enjoy a relaxed few hours creating your own festive door wreath, that you can design from our large choice of fresh and dried foliage and other ingredients that will be available.
Using sustainable and traditional methods, Suzy will guide you in the mechanics of attaching and wiring your wreath but the style is totally up to you!

Free Flow/ Kundalini Yoga Classes (Siri Anahata)
The class consists of asanas, breath work, yoga mudras and mantras, we always finish with deep relaxation at the end of the session. The aim of all the sessions are to invigorate and relax. If you have any specific questions about the class feel free to contact the teacher directly.

Mothers Circle Connection, Calm & Cake (Awe And Wonder)
Mama's night in offers the time and space to explore motherhood in all its emotional glory. Come in lounge wear and bring a blanket, pillow and your journal. Get ready to relax, stretch breath, journal and share your stories in a safe and cosy space. Leave the session feeling calm, rested and loved.
Due to the relaxing nature of the event, this is a child-free session.
